The intensity of the detailing reminds me of the Tolkein short story, LEAF, by Niggle. Such effort, first to assemble all those stone then lay & layer them just right speaks to a skill that will serve well in the years to come, when the plastic tide recedes, the cheap oil dries up and we are reliant on ourselves.
