  1. The intensity of the detailing reminds me of the Tolkein short story, LEAF, by Niggle. Such effort, first to assemble all those stone then lay & layer them just right speaks to a skill that will serve well in the years to come, when the plastic tide recedes, the cheap oil dries up and we are reliant on ourselves.

  2. Thank you for your nice comments – I know each single stone and am hopeful, next time on Inis Oirr, to revisit this wall – if I can find it again!
